Since her teen years in her hometown of Cedar Grove, Wisconsin, Jane Headley knew that she wanted to work with elementary aged children. During those years she also became more convicted of her need for a Savior through the ministry of the local Orthodox Presbyterian Church. She was encouraged to attend Trinity Christian College by her pastor and found a depth of Christian thinking that she did not know existed. It was there that she received her Education degree and BS in Psychology. Through the years, the Lord has led her and her husband to be involved in three different Christian Schools as teachers or supportive parents.
When they moved to Columbia in 1991, Mrs. Headley began teaching at Covenant and has continued to teach in the grammar school ever since. During her years at Covenant she has grown in her understanding of Christian education and as a teacher through reading, workshops, conferences and professional development classes. Mrs. Headley has taught grades 3 & 4 as well as various subjects in the 5-8th grades. She considers teaching at Covenant an opportunity to influence the minds and souls of the next generation while teaching them the skills necessary for academic achievement. The school community has become like a family to her, and she is so blessed to be a part of what the Lord is doing at Covenant Classical Christian School.
